Creating An Account

Welcome to Blackout Version 2. Like many software platforms, you begin by creating an account. At the top of the www.blackout-app.com, tap Sign up, and fill out your details. Go to your email and look for the message to confirm your email. If it doesn’t show up quickly, don’t forget to search your spam folder.

Migrating Account from Version 1

If you purchased an account before March 2024, and have used Blackout version 1, you need to follow these steps to get your account into the new database we've migrated to for version 2:

• Visit www.blackout-app.com, tap Sign in in the top right corner, and then Forgot Password.
• Enter your Blackout login email and follow the instructions to reset your password. This may require updating your details.

Your new account should now be good to go with all of your purchases from version 1.

Please note that, due to the significant changes, your old projects will not be transferable to Version 2. To ensure the best experience, we recommend starting fresh by deleting the old app and installing the new one.

Purchasing a Plan

When you click through to confirm your email, it will bring you back to the website. This is where you will purchase your plan. Click Upgrade your plan and purchase whatever you need. You can upgrade at any time - check out this Help Center Article for more details.
